One of our ongoing goals at Underbelly is to "Do Good". We heard there was a blood shortage and we thought we could step in and help. Even though donating blood is TERRIFYING, we decided to host a Red Cross Blood Drive at our studio. Despite our fears and squeamish hesitations, we ended up donating 34 quarts of blood! Each quart of blood can save up to 3 lives, meaning we potentially helped 102 people and learned that donating blood is not nearly as terrifying as we thought.
We are always looking for ways to "Do Good" within our company and especially inside our community. What are some other ways you can step out and "Do Good"?
